Job description
The Jewish Federation of Southern NJ (JFSNJ) is seeking a highly skilled and mission-driven Data Coordinator to assist with the optimization and development of our data infrastructure. The Data Coordinator supports the Senior Database Manager and the initiatives of the Data Team. This role focuses on data workflows, automations, data integrity, and data entry, and will play an important role in enhancing data systems efficiency, data reliability, and the strategic and operational use of data across JFSNJ. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design, build, and maintain data workflows and pipelines between various database systems; help develop automations and future AI integrations to reduce manual data entry and streamline operations. • Data entry as needed, such as adding new constituents, constituent updates, and pledge/payment entry and approval. • Data cleanup as needed, such as address verification and adjustments. • Data quality control and assurance, including regular data checks to ensure compliance with established best practices. • Assist in fulfilling data report requests. • Maintain accurate records and electronic filing systems. • Work closely with JFSNJ departments and agencies on data requests and tasks. • Assist the Data Team in developing best practices and infrastructure to enhance efficiency and strengthen data reliability. REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: College degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience. ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Outlook, and Teams. • Strong comfort level with learning new software programs. • Excellent communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with others. • Strong project management skills with ability to be flexible to changing priorities and deadlines. • Detail-oriented, meticulous, and a strong ability to focus and manage tasks. • Proficiency in MS Dynamics, Power BI, Power Automate, and/or Power Apps a plus.
