Our communities flourish through deep, lasting connections built on compassion, respect, and genuine care. We are seeking a full-time Line Cook to join our West Bloomfield campus team. Great hours — weekend rotation, no late nights. Candidates should be team-oriented and excited about expanding their culinary abilities in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. Responsibilities: • Prepare all required food products as scheduled in the cycle menu, including catering and special functions • Follow proper handling, preparation, and holding guidelines; take temperatures at regular intervals • Properly present all food items for maximum appeal and freshness • Follow HACCP procedures and practices • Maintain kitchen sanitation and equipment cleaning schedule • Ensure proper communication with service personnel on portioning, plating, and presentation • Perform stock tasks and assist with all kitchen and meal service functions as directed Qualifications: • High School Diploma • Proven guest service orientation • Creative skills in food preparation and presentation • Ability to function in a team-oriented environment • Excellent time management skills JSL is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace where every employee feels valued and supported.
