The Associated is the central address of Jewish Baltimore, leading a network of agencies and partners to care for Jews in need, strengthen Jewish life, and build a vibrant, resilient community. The Assistant Vice President for Human Services and Community Impact is a strategic, emotionally intelligent leader who helps translate community insight into action. Working closely with the Chief Planning Officer, agency partners, and lay leadership, this role supports planning, evaluation, and decision-making that strengthens impact across The Associated's human services priorities. This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office. Key Responsibilities: • Advance human services impact work through clear analysis, sound decision-making, and strong follow-through • Staff and support committees and volunteer leaders with strong facilitation and relationship stewardship • Coordinate closely with The Associated's network of agencies to identify needs and align strategies • Integrate data, community input, and evaluation to surface insights and frame funding recommendations • Supervise collaborative initiatives including AgeWell Baltimore and Jewish Economic Vulnerability • Collaborate with colleagues and leaders across the Associated network to support priority work Qualifications: • Exceptional emotional intelligence and interpersonal skill; able to navigate sensitive dynamics with care • Deep knowledge of Jewish Baltimore, Jewish history, and Jewish traditions • Proven ability to collaborate intensively while also driving decisions to completion • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred • Experience supervising a team; experience working with lay leaders, boards, or committees • Background in human services, nonprofit leadership, or community planning Compensation: $93,000-$100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
