Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Department: Physical Plant Supervisor: Physical Plant, Supervisor Job Objective: This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks and ensuring compliance and safety standards. Minimum Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: 1-2 years of related experience Licensure: CT State Motor Vehicle Driver’s License Essential Job Functions: • Make daily rounds in an efficient and orderly manner while observing plant mechanicals and building structure. • Carefully clean all commercial capacity dryers in the laundry areas on a daily basis. • Perform jobs as required by work orders in a safe and timely manner including security coverage for building entrances. • Perform snow removal. • Assist in all emergency matters ranging from fire safety procedure to on call service for extreme weather conditions. • Other related duties as assigned.
