Sinai Residences is the premier five-star senior living facility in Boca Raton, FL, located on the secure, gated, 100-acre Jewish Federation campus. Position Summary: We are seeking a qualified Driver responsible for the timely and safe transporting of residents to various individual and group activities/functions and medical appointments. Essential Job Duties: • Pick up and deliver residents to all scheduled activities and appointments • Complete a safety check of the vehicle before transporting residents • Accurately record vehicle mileage and resident attendance for all scheduled transportation • Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and out • Transport vehicle(s) for routine preventive maintenance as scheduled • Notify supervisor of necessary repairs and vehicle malfunctions • Immediately notify supervisor of resident concerns, problems, or incidents • Make miscellaneous runs for administration errands as necessary Qualifications: • High school education preferred • Must possess a valid Florida Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement • Good driving record • Ability to maintain a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude with residents • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds • Ability to sit in a vehicle for up to six (6) hours per day Note: A Level II background check is required for all positions at Sinai Residences.
