Job description
The Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) seeks an Executive Director to lead Student to Student, an interfaith dialogue program that brings teens together to disrupt stereotypes and stop hatred. Now operating in 45 communities since joining JFNA in September 2024, the program is poised for significant growth. Location: New York, NY (preferred) or Washington, DC. Key Responsibilities: • Develop a 3–5 year strategic growth plan within JFNA's Frontline initiative • Supervise the professional team, including remote staff • Oversee curriculum creation and trainer preparation • Build school and interfaith partnerships • Represent the program to funders and community stakeholders • Implement data collection systems for program evaluation • Coordinate with an advisory committee on expansion plans Qualifications: • Advanced degree in education, Jewish engagement, interfaith studies, or related field • Proven strategic leadership experience with team supervision (in-person and remote) • Deep knowledge of Jewish traditions and practices • Experience in interfaith work or community engagement • Strong executive presence and communication skills • Familiarity with school systems (public and parochial) preferred Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, defined contribution plan, generous vacation, paid holidays, life insurance, parental leave, and flexible remote work options.
