Founding Product Engineer (Frontend)

Why This Role Is Different

This is not an immediate founding-team position.
Instead, we're looking for someone interested in proving what we can build together.

The engagement begins with a paid contract contributing to our strategic customer pilot while working closely with our Founder & CEO, Lead Machine Learning Engineer, and existing engineering team.

This is real product work—not a coding exercise or trial project.

During the pilot, you'll help improve and expand Idii.'s product experience while collaborating on features that will directly impact our first commercial customers and future users.

If there's strong mutual fit—technically, strategically, and personally—there is a clear path into a long-term founding engineering role with meaningful equity and significant influence over the future direction of the product.

We believe the strongest founding teams are built through shared execution, not just interviews.

What You'll Build

You'll own and evolve the frontend experience for an AI-native platform that helps people improve every aspect of their lives.

Your work will include:

Designing and building elegant, responsive user experiences
Creating intuitive interfaces for AI-powered workflows
Building scalable React architecture and reusable component libraries
Improving application performance and responsiveness
Developing design systems and interaction patterns
Collaborating closely with AI engineers to translate complex intelligence into simple, delightful user experiences
Helping define the future mobile experience for Idii.
