Why This Role Is Different

This is not an immediate co-founder position.

Instead, we're looking for someone interested in proving what we can build together.

The engagement begins with a paid contract leading engineering efforts on a strategic customer pilot while partnering closely with our Founder & CEO and existing engineering team.

If there's strong mutual fit—technically, strategically, and personally—there is a clear path into a long-term leadership position, including Head of Engineering, CTO, or Technical Co-Founder, depending on the value you create and the direction we decide to pursue together.

We believe founder relationships should be earned through shared execution, not assigned after a few interviews.

Your initial focus will be leading engineering execution for a high-impact commercial pilot while helping us accelerate our path to product-market fit.

You'll work directly with the Founder & CEO to:

Ship product improvements quickly
Improve engineering velocity
Strengthen backend architecture
Expand AI capabilities
Improve scalability and reliability
Translate customer feedback into product improvements
Help establish engineering processes that can support long-term growth

You'll Be Working With

You'll join an existing engineering team that includes experienced machine learning talent.
Rather than replacing the current team, you'll provide technical leadership across engineering while collaborating closely with specialists in AI and machine learning.

We're looking for someone who enjoys building strong teams as much as building strong software.

Engineering Leadership

Drive day-to-day engineering execution
Own technical planning and delivery
Improve engineering processes
Guide architectural decisions
Help recruit and mentor future engineers
Balance speed with long-term scalability
Backend & Platform

Design scalable backend services
Improve APIs and data architecture
Optimize system performance
Build reliable cloud infrastructure
Improve security and operational excellence
AI Product Development

Integrate and optimize LLM-powered experiences
Improve personalization systems
Expand intelligent workflows
Design scalable AI application architecture
Evaluate emerging AI technologies that create customer value
Product Partnership

Work directly with the Founder & CEO
Rapidly test ideas with customers
Prioritize engineering investments
Help identify what customers truly value
Build products users love—not features users ignore

What We're Looking For
You have likely:

Built and shipped production software
Led complex engineering projects
Designed scalable backend systems
Built AI-powered applications using modern LLMs
Worked successfully in startup environments
Made technical decisions with incomplete information
Enjoyed owning outcomes—not just writing code
