Sr. Software Engineer - Fullstack

What you will do:

Own Projects - Design and build new features, end-to-end. using Python, Go, and React to power Unfold AI.
Build Robust Testing – Build automated testing to validate the user experience, performance, and reliability of Unfold AI.
Bring Doctors and Patients Joy – Help remove workflow steps and save doctors time. Make it easy to bring Unfold AI into the operating room to improve patient care.

What you will bring:

Experience:
7+ years of experience in fullstack software development. Comfortable on the frontend and backend.
You have designed, implemented, and maintained a fullstack cloud application.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

Skills:
Backend Programming Expertise – Proficiency in Python and Go or equivalent.
Frontend Programming Expertise – Proficiency in React and state management (Redux, Context API) or equivalent. (Experience with 3D Graphics – WebGL, Three.js, OpenGL, Unity, etc. is a plus)
Database Design and Management – Deep understanding of database architecture. We use Postgres and DynamoDB.
Cloud Platforms – Expertise in building scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS or equivalent.
Testing Frameworks – You have experience with unit, integration, and load testing tools.
Technical Writing – You can write detailed specifications and clear technical documentation.
Professional Communication – You know how to collaborate with engineers and communicate with stakeholders.
System observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog) for monitoring, logging, and alerting.
Automated deployment and configuration tools for integration frameworks (e.g. Gitlab Pipelines, Jenkins, Github Actions, etc.).
Familiarity with medical imaging (MRI + Ultrasound) and hands-on experience with AI algorithms integration is a plus.
Experience in medical device development or a regulated field is preferred.
