Legacy and Major Gifts Officer - Milwaukee

Job description

Build long‑term financial strength for the Milwaukee Jewish Federation by cultivating major and planned gifts (bequests, life‑income gifts, donor‑advised funds, endowments). This role manages a dynamic portfolio of prospects and donors, designs individualized donor strategies, develops legacy‑giving programs (e.g., Life & Legacy), collaborates across fundraising campaigns and marketing, and engages multigenerational donors. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (advanced degree or JD/CFRE preferred), 5+ years of nonprofit fundraising with major/planned giving success, and familiarity with Jewish communal values. Annual salary ~$120K; the role is mainly in‑person with limited remote work.
