Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) is seeking full-time Brief Writers to join its editorial team covering Israel and the Jewish world. This role focuses on producing timely news briefs, reported analysis, and original stories, including conducting interviews and collaborating closely with editors to deliver high-quality journalism. Responsibilities include covering breaking news, pitching original story ideas, building relationships with sources, traveling to conferences and events as needed, and adhering to the highest journalistic standards of accuracy and originality. Ideal candidates bring newsroom reporting experience, strong research and writing skills, familiarity with AP style and journalistic ethics, and a demonstrated passion for Israel, Jewish affairs, and impactful storytelling.
