Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) is seeking Freelance News Brief Writers to join its Israel editorial team. Writers will deliver timely news reports, analyses, and briefs covering Israel and the Jewish world, working closely with editors to maintain the highest journalistic standards. Responsibilities include reporting breaking and developing stories, pitching original ideas and investigative angles, covering conferences and events within Israel as needed, conducting interviews, and publishing edited content through JNS’s content management system. Ideal candidates bring strong reporting experience, familiarity with Middle Eastern and Jewish affairs, excellent research and writing skills, knowledge of AP style and journalistic ethics, and a clear passion for JNS’s mission and audience.
