Job description
The Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) is seeking a Government Relations Intern to support its advocacy and public policy work in Washington, DC. This internship offers hands-on experience assisting lobbying efforts, supporting fly-in advocacy programs, researching policy and legislative developments, drafting and editing communications for elected officials, updating legislative trackers, and helping plan briefings, webinars, and conferences. Interns will work closely with the Government Relations team on key issue areas including security, antisemitism, Israel, health, and human services. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytically strong, interested in government affairs and public policy, and motivated to contribute to mission-driven advocacy work. This is a paid, full-time (40 hours/week) internship for approximately 8 weeks, based in JFNA’s Washington, DC office.
