Job description

JGO seeks a freelance grant writer to expand its funding portfolio for Jewish graduate student programming. The contractor will research and vet potential funding partners, write compelling letters of inquiry and grant proposals, maintain a systematic grant calendar, create impact reports, and work with leadership on messaging. Requires at least three years’ grant writing experience with success in the Jewish philanthropic sector, familiarity with major foundations and family offices, strong persuasive writing skills, and understanding of the graduate/young professional demographic. Compensation to be determined based on fee structure; remote/hybrid arrangement.
