Bayit Brigade, a nonprofit that provides housing and community for Israeli Lone Soldiers and veterans, seeks a remote Director of Development to lead its U.S. fundraising strategy. The position manages and grows an annual development program to raise $1 million or more, cultivating and soliciting individual donors, family foundations, and major gifts; overseeing grant submissions and relationships with Jewish federations and grantmakers; partnering with the CEO and board on donor messaging and strategy; leading U.S. fundraising trips and donor events; executing campaigns; managing donor communications and CRM; and building an annual engagement calendar. Candidates need at least seven years’ nonprofit fundraising experience, knowledge of the Jewish philanthropic ecosystem, proven success securing major gifts, experience working with boards, strong storytelling and communication skills, and willingness to travel. Compensation includes a base salary of $95,000–$110,000 plus a performance‑based bonus of $40,000–$60,000.
