Job description

Schoke JFS seeks a Senior Manager of Donor Relations to cultivate, solicit and steward gifts that advance the agency’s mission in Stamford/Fairfield, CT. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, this role manages a portfolio of donors, develops cultivation and retention strategies, supports fundraising campaigns, oversees donor acknowledgements, promotes planned giving, builds partnerships with synagogues, businesses and civic leaders, and manages event committees. The manager also supports board and leadership engagement, trains staff and volunteers in fundraising, and provides data analysis on fundraising outcomes. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least five years’ experience in fundraising or donor relations with a track record of securing individual and institutional gifts. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills, proficiency with donor databases and Microsoft Office, and familiarity with the Jewish community are preferred. Salary range $80,000–$100,000 with benefits and 403(b) matching.
