Job description

The Minneapolis Jewish Federation seeks an Events Manager (32 hours/week) to plan, produce and execute major and affinity‑specific events that advance the organization’s mission. Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving, the role leads the strategy, planning and execution of fundraising, stewardship and engagement events; collaborates with staff, lay leaders and volunteers; oversees event logistics and on‑site execution; manages budgets, calendars and timelines; directs event administration and data management; develops marketing materials; and supports program storytelling. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, at least five years’ experience in event planning, project management or hospitality management, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, the ability to work nights and weekends, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, databases and project‑management tools. The hybrid position requires at least three days per week in the St. Louis Park office (with two days remote); benefits include vacation, sick leave, paid holidays, 403(b) match, disability and life insurance, and optional health, dental and vision insurance.
