The Jewish Federation of Broward County seeks an Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Annual Giving to provide strategic leadership and hands‑on management of its individual annual giving portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President of the Annual Campaign, the AVP leads a high‑performing team of affinity‑focused fundraisers, builds donor pipelines, deepens lay leadership engagement, and blends strategic planning with frontline fundraising. The AVP manages a personal portfolio of donors giving $1,800–$9,999, oversees Business & Professionals (B&P) philanthropy and events, leads the premier Ultimate Nite Out fundraising event, coordinates B&P events, and strengthens cross‑department collaboration. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred), at least 10 years of development experience including management of fundraising teams, and a track record leading annual giving and affinity‑based programs. Strong leadership, relationship‑building, project management, and communication skills, and familiarity with Jewish communal life, are important. Salary range $120,000–$140,000 with comprehensive benefits.
