Job description
The Greater Miami Jewish Federation seeks an experienced Senior Director of Major & Principal Gifts to build relationships with high‑net‑worth individuals and families who are relocating to Miami. This frontline fundraising role manages a portfolio of high‑capacity donors, identifies and cultivates prospects, develops customized engagement strategies, solicits major gifts across income streams, builds a robust pipeline of $100,000+ donors, partners with executive and lay leadership, recruits and manages select volunteers, and designs curated donor experiences. Success is measured by a strong portfolio of newly engaged donors and advancement of multiple six‑ and seven‑figure opportunities. Candidates should demonstrate success securing major and principal gifts, possess the ability to build donor relationships from scratch, be strategic thinkers with excellent communication skills, and have knowledge of Jewish philanthropy; a bachelor’s degree is required and an advanced degree preferred.
