Job description

NCJW seeks a bold and strategic Vice President of Development to lead fundraising efforts during a time of exciting growth. The VP will develop and execute comprehensive strategies to substantially expand philanthropic revenue, manage a high-performing team, and activate lay leadership. Salary $180,000-$200,000. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, the role oversees all fundraising including individual, foundation, corporate, and legacy giving. Primary responsibilities include serving as lead fundraiser securing large gifts, developing major donor cultivation and solicitation strategies, defining foundation giving strategy, enhancing cross-functional fundraising, managing direct response programs, and developing planned giving. The VP will also provide team leadership, set department goals, and serve as staff liaison to the Development Committee. Requirements include at least 8 years of increasing development responsibility in a nonprofit, proven track record increasing fundraising revenue, successful major gift solicitation experience, ability to work with all levels including board members, strong communication skills, effective team management experience, and willingness to travel.
