Job description
NCJW seeks a Foundations Relations Manager to lead stewardship of current foundation fundraising and identify, cultivate, and secure new funding opportunities. Salary $65,000-$85,000. The role requires an effective relationship builder and storyteller who can bring NCJW's work to life through strong presentations, communication, grant proposals, and reports. Primary responsibilities include relationship management (develop strategic foundation moves management plans, establish and maintain relationships with foundation officers and community leaders), grant management (track deadlines, prepare compelling proposals and stewardship materials, oversee portfolio of foundation relationships, prospect new funders, strategize with leadership, ensure database accuracy in EveryAction, host kick-off meetings). Requirements include minimum 5 years project management experience with increasing responsibility, knowledge of grants and administration systems, track record of successful grant writing leading to 5- and 6-figure grants, superior oral/written communication and research skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to interpret financial data and prepare budgets, discretion with confidential information, experience with Google Suite and databases, and passion for NCJW's mission. Prior experience with Jewish communal or progressive organizations preferred.
