Met Council, NYC's largest Jewish anti-poverty organization, seeks a Director of Family Violence Services to oversee operations, management, and growth of initiatives serving survivors of family violence. The role leads comprehensive social services and training for about 200,000 people annually through eviction prevention, food assistance, and family support programs. The Director oversees Shelter & Supportive Housing programs providing individualized case management for survivors and trafficking victims, supporting efforts toward better life circumstances and social rehabilitation. Key responsibilities include overseeing the Family Violence Program, recruiting and supporting staff, evaluating and implementing policies and procedures, establishing professional training and development opportunities, grant writing and demonstrating projects to secure funding, supervising program operations, attending agency meetings and community events, and representing the agency. The position requires working with survivors of domestic violence in supporting efforts best level and social rehabilitation, assessing operational capacity, providing policy development, enhancing performance compliance with regulatory institutions, and developing strong operational solutions. Salary $90,000-$105,000 per year.
