Director of Development

Job description

Wexner Heritage Village seeks a Director of Development to lead fundraising, engagement, and marketing efforts for this 175-year-old Jewish senior living provider serving Columbus and central Ohio. Reporting to the CEO, this role oversees comprehensive development strategy including major gifts, planned giving, annual campaigns, donor stewardship, and capital campaigns. Responsibilities include cultivating and securing major gifts, building donor relationships and strategic partnerships, leading donor visits and community relationships, managing development operations and CRM systems, overseeing marketing and communications efforts, and partnering with Board leadership on fundraising outcomes. Requires proven track record in fundraising with experience in major gifts, strong relationship-building and communication skills, ability to work collaboratively across departments, and familiarity with Jewish community values and culture. Experience in senior living or healthcare philanthropy preferred. Bachelor's degree required.
