Jewish Education Consultant

Job description

BBYO seeks a Jewish Education Consultant to enrich regional conventions across the United States. Partnering with professional staff, the consultant helps craft inspiring and pluralistic Jewish experiences, coaches teen leaders on planning and leading services and rituals, facilitates Shabbat and Havdalah programs and provides creative direction and feedback before, during and after events. Acting as a pluralistic ambassador, the consultant ensures all participants feel welcome and supported in their Jewish journeys. This contract role provides an honorarium of about $1,150 per convention, with travel and lodging covered by BBYO. Candidates must be available to travel, collaborate effectively with staff and teen leaders and have experience in Jewish education or youth engagement, along with the ability to create inclusive and meaningful rituals for diverse participants.
