Job description

Salary: $65,000–$85,000. Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach seeks a strategic, relationship-driven Assistant Director to lead its Broward County portfolio, including the Jewish student community at Nova Southeastern University. Reporting to the Executive Director, this senior professional will supervise one full-time staff member, collaborate with an Israel Fellow and IACT Coordinator, build university and community partnerships, and spearhead a parent engagement and fundraising initiative. Key responsibilities include designing comprehensive student engagement plans for NSU and Jewish graduate students, representing Hillel to university administration, cultivating parent and alumni donors, and overseeing Broward County program budgets and operations. Requires 6–8 years of experience in higher education, Jewish communal work, or nonprofit management; a bachelor's degree (master's preferred); staff supervision experience; and a passion for Jewish life and Israel. Prior Hillel experience a plus.
