Position: Junior Graphic Designer (Freelance / Project-Based) Organization: Jewish Joy LLC Location: Remote ABOUT THE ROLE: Jewish Joy LLC is seeking a talented and reliable Graphic Designer to support its growing ecosystem, including Jewish Joy Con, The Jewish Joy Box, The Jewish Joy Book Club, and related digital and print marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and able to work precisely within an established brand book while also creating fresh, engaging assets when needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Work within existing brand guidelines and visual systems - Create on-brand graphics for Instagram and Facebook - Adapt and reformat designs across multiple formats (square, vertical, stories, banners, newsletters, web, landing pages) - Design print assets including signage, postcards, banners, and merchandise - Utilize Canva effectively, including building reusable templates - Prepare files for print production (banners, signage, apparel, merchandise) - Meet deadlines and deliver drafts efficiently - Attend Zoom meetings as needed REQUIRED SKILLS: - Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) - Canva proficiency - Strong ability to follow a brand book and maintain visual consistency COMPENSATION & DETAILS: - Hourly rate: $13–$25 per hour, commensurate with experience - Up to 10 hours per week (hours not guaranteed) - Higher rates reserved for designers who work independently with minimal revisions and strong design + short-form video skills - Remote and flexible - Freelance / project-based - Independent contractor agreement and confidentiality agreement required TO APPLY: Please email the following to [email protected]: - Resume - Portfolio - Cover letter - Salary requirements Due to the volume of applications, only selected candidates will be contacted for next steps.
