Position: Program Associate, Northeastern States Region Organization: Community Security Service (CSS) Location: Westchester, NY (Hybrid) The Community Security Service (CSS) is seeking a full-time Program Associate, Northeastern States Region to support the planning and coordination of CSS programs across the NY Tri-State area. Reporting to the Northeastern States Director, this role involves working directly with Jewish institutions, supporting volunteer engagement, and assisting with program logistics and training coordination. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about CSS's mission, highly organized, and comfortable working with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: - Support the implementation and delivery of CSS programs and initiatives in the NY Tri State Region - Serve as a liaison to Jewish institutions and synagogues, supporting onboarding and engagement efforts - Assist with organizing and delivering volunteer trainings, including scheduling trainers and supporting training logistics - Help identify and engage new volunteers and partner organizations - Provide logistical and administrative support for the ROAM program, including outreach and candidate follow-up - Work collaboratively with national CSS staff to promote regional programming and communications - Track participation and engagement data to support regional reporting efforts - Represent CSS at community events and training sessions, as needed - Perform other duties as assigned by the Northeastern States Director Qualifications: - 3–5 years of relevant experience in community programming, nonprofit, security or related fields - Ideal candidate has experience working with volunteers or community-based initiatives and has familiarity with Jewish communal institutions, particularly in the NY Tri-State area - Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders - Excellent organizational and project coordination skills - Comfortable using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and basic CRM and project management tools - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required - Willingness to work some evenings and weekends, as needed - Commitment to CSS's mission and values, with an interest in volunteer-based community security - Must live within the NY Tri-State area and must be eligible to work in the U.S. This position is hybrid and the selectee will be expected to work in the Westchester office two days per week. Compensation: This is a full-time, exempt position with a salary range between $65,000-$85,000 commensurate with experience and based on location.
