Job description
Temple Shalom is a Reform Jewish congregation of 600 families in Newton, MA. The Building Representative provides evening and occasional weekend support for the congregation's programs and rentals, helping keep the building welcoming, safe and well maintained.
Responsibilities:
• Manage visitor access and greet guests arriving for programs and rentals
• Monitor the building during events
• Handle routine building issues as they come up
• Complete end-of-night closing
**Hours:** Part time, Monday through Thursday, 5:30 pm until building closing, usually between 8:00 and 10:30 pm, roughly 15-20 hours per week. Occasional weekend shifts may also be available depending on program and rental needs.
