Move-Out & Turnover Inspector

Position: Move-Out & Turnover Inspector Job Type: Full Time, Field Location: New Haven Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Overview A large property management company is seeking an individual to inspect apartments following tenant move-outs and ensure that turnover work is completed properly. This role involves visiting multiple properties, documenting apartment conditions, taking detailed photos, completing inspection checklists, and verifying that subcontractors have completed their assigned work. Responsibilities Inspect all apartments following tenant move-outs. Document apartment conditions with detailed photos, notes, and inspection reports for security deposit reviews. Complete inspection checklists and accurately record any visible damage or issues. Visit apartments following contractor work to ensure all assigned tasks have been completed correctly. Identify incomplete or improperly completed work and report findings to management. Maintain accurate records and photos using software programing. Manage a schedule of property visits while ensuring inspections are completed thoroughly and on time. Qualifications Basic knowledge of apartment maintenance, repairs, and property conditions. Ability to recognize quality workmanship and identify incomplete or improperly completed repairs. Extremely detail oriented, organized, and reliable. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle a fast-paced workload. Comfortable using technology. Strong communication and follow-through skills. Must own a vehicle. Spanish speaking strongly preferred. Previous experience in property maintenance, inspections, or a related field is a plus. Must reside within 30-45 minutes of the greater New Haven, CT area.
