Night Shift Operations Manager

Location: Northern New Jersey
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 AM until operations are complete (typically 12–2 PM); Sunday, 12:30 AM until operations are complete (typically 11 AM–12 PM). Friday off.
Salary: $150,000–$200,000

Position Overview

A growing food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Night Shift Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse and shipping operations, manage employees, and ensure all orders are picked, prepared, and shipped on time. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong organizational skills, accountability, and the ability to keep operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage employees throughout the shift, ensuring productivity and accountability.

• Monitor attendance and ensure all scheduled employees arrive on time and staffing needs are covered.

• Oversee order picking, preparation, and shipping to ensure all orders leave on schedule.

• Coordinate daily workflow and resolve operational issues as they arise.

• Maintain an organized, efficient, and productive work environment.

• Ensure deadlines and shipping requirements are consistently met.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a warehouse, shipping operation, distribution team, or similar environment.

• Strong leadership and employee management skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work overnight/early-morning hours and manage a fast-paced operation.

• Reliable, hands-on, and results-oriented approach.
