Manufacturing Mechanic

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment, machinery, and systems in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge and hands-on repair skills, with a focus on equipment reliability, safety, and minimizing downtime. Responsibilities Maintenance & Inspections: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical equipment and machinery. Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to minimize equipment downtime. Preventive Maintenance: Follow maintenance schedules, complete assigned work orders, and support preventive maintenance programs. Documentation: Record completed work using CMMS software or maintenance logs. Root Cause Analysis: Assist in identifying the causes of equipment failures and recommend repair solutions. Communication: Communicate with team members and report major equipment issues to management. Safety & Compliance: Follow established safety standards and protocols during all maintenance activities. Qualifications Prior experience as a mechanic or maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment. Ability to troubleshoot problems and perform hands-on repairs. Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and tools. Basic understanding of CMMS or maintenance logging systems preferred. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
