Summer 2027 Camp Staff

Capital Camps, a Jewish overnight camp in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, is hiring summer staff for 2027. Staff serve as leaders and role models for campers of all ages, take initiative in challenging situations, and foster a sense of Jewish identity in everyday camp life. Several roles can be filled for the full summer or part of it.

**Open Roles:**
• Cabin Counselor: accompany your campers to daily activities and help plan evening programs and special events; strong team leadership, conflict resolution and community-building skills
• Atzma'im (Inclusion) Counselor: give one-on-one support to a camper at activities and in the cabin
• Emerging Leader: help lead villages and activity areas or train LIT and CIT teen leaders, with a cohort-based professional development experience (typically returning staff)
• Medical Center Staff: certified nurses, doctors or EMTs who care for the health of campers and staff (full or partial summer)
• Administrative Staff: office assistants and staff drivers who keep camp running behind the scenes (full or partial summer)
