Camp Keff Winter Camp Counselor

The Peninsula Jewish Community Center (PJCC) is hiring counselors for Camp Keff's winter break camp. Counselors are the heart of Camp Keff: working under the Camp Director, you'll make sure every child feels welcome, safe and loved while leading fun programs rooted in Jewish values. Camp Keff has run programs for preschool through grade 11 for more than five decades and is accredited by the American Camp Association.

Responsibilities:
• Keep children emotionally and physically safe
• Plan and lead a variety of activities, and engage with campers throughout the day
• Resolve conflicts within your group
• Work with fellow staff to support Camp Keff's goals and spirit

Qualifications:
• Experience working with youth in grades TK–5 preferred
• Passion for working with kids in a camp setting
• Knowledge of Jewish culture and prior camp experience a plus
• Able to stand, walk and lift up to 50 lbs

**Pay:** $721–$836 per week, plus paid training and $18/hour for extended care hours. Includes free Athletic Center membership on contracted days.

**Schedule:** Paid training December 16, 6:00–7:00 PM, then camp from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM on December 17–18, 21–24 and 28–31, 2026.
