Registered Nurse - Full Time 12-Hour Shift

Aviva Senior Living in Sarasota is hiring a full-time nurse to work 12-hour shifts as a Charge Nurse (LPN or RN). You'll give residents direct nursing care and supervise the nursing assistants on your shift, upholding federal, state and local standards and the Director of Nursing's expectations for high-quality care.

Responsibilities:
• Direct residents' care under a licensed physician, using long-term care nursing skills
• Review and update care plans, physician orders and medication records
• Assess and report residents' needs, and follow up on concerns until they're resolved
• Supervise direct care staff during your shift and take part in CNA evaluations
• Oversee the Falls and Pressure Sore programs for your team's residents
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Model and enforce strict infection control

Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Valid Florida LPN or RN license
• 30-hour IV certification preferred
• At least one year of nursing experience, including supervising direct care staff in long-term care or assisted living, preferred
• Able to lift 35 lbs and help turn, reposition and transfer residents

**Pay:** $33–$39/hour

**Schedule:** Full-time, 12-hour shifts
