Job description
The Jewish Federation of San Diego is hiring a highly organized Program Coordinator, Leadership and Belonging, to keep the programs that build Jewish leadership and belonging across the community running smoothly. You'll provide administrative, logistical and program support for leadership cohorts, belonging initiatives and micro-communities such as Mosaic and Kesher, handling scheduling, registration, communication, data and follow-up. It's a flexible, team-first role: assignments shift with Federation priorities, and part of the work supports other programs and departments. Program strategy is led by the Senior Manager, Community Planning. Candidates with deeper experience may be hired at the Program Manager level.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate scheduling, logistics and registration for leadership and community-building programs
• Communicate with participants and follow up after programs
• Keep participant data clean and current in Salesforce
• Support other Federation programs, departments and organization-wide needs as assigned
Qualifications:
• Coordinator level: 1–3 years in program coordination, event logistics or administrative support, ideally at a nonprofit
• Manager level: 3–5 years running programs or projects end to end
• Exceptional attention to detail and reliable follow-through
• Salesforce or a comparable CRM, Microsoft 365 and online registration tools
• Warm, service-minded communication; familiarity with Jewish life is a plus
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and availability for some evenings and weekends
**Pay:** $25/hour
