Intake Coordinator

Alegria Home Care is a fast-growing home care startup, and we are looking for an Intake Coordinator to join our Fair Lawn, NJ office. This role blends intake, client onboarding, and sales: you will be the first point of contact for families, referral sources, and prospective clients, and you will guide them from first inquiry to a successful start of care.

Responsibilities:
- Respond to new inquiries and referrals by phone, email, and text, and convert them into admitted clients
- Conduct intake conversations, gather client and insurance/Medicaid information, and enter it accurately into our case management system
- Coordinate with referral sources, case managers, and payers to move cases through authorization and start of care
- Build and maintain relationships with referral partners and community contacts
- Follow up promptly on every lead and track pipeline activity and conversions
- Work closely with scheduling and operations to ensure a smooth start of care for every new client

Requirements:
- Strong communication and customer-service skills; comfortable on the phone
- Sales or business-development mindset with a drive to follow through
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with data entry and software systems
- Home care, healthcare, or Medicaid experience is a plus but not required

What we offer:
- Compensation of $55,000-$65,000 plus a discretionary bonus
