Healthcare IT Project Lead: HIPAA, Web App, Tracking and CRM Integrations

A growing outpatient mental health practice in New York is looking for a project-based technical lead to connect our whole patient journey safely and make it HIPAA compliant. You will work directly with the founder.

What you will do:

• Build out and secure our existing patient web app and website so they meet HIPAA rules.
• Connect the website, forms, the CRM (GoHighLevel) and our practice management system (AdvancedMD) so leads and patients move smoothly from first click to booked visit.
• Set up and clean up Google Tag Manager and tracking so no patient information is ever sent to ad or analytics tools.
• Set up safe staff logins (individual accounts, two-step sign-in) and access controls.
• Document what you build so the team can run it.

You should have:

• Real experience with HIPAA in a healthcare setting (business associate agreements, access controls, audit logs).
• Web apps (React or similar) and WordPress.
• Google Tag Manager and web tracking, and knowing what must not be tracked in healthcare.
• GoHighLevel or a similar CRM, and ideally AdvancedMD or another EHR integration (APIs).
• Clear, plain communication. You can explain things simply to a non-technical owner.

Details: Project-based contract, starting with one first project (secure and connect what we already have), with more work possible.
