Mechanic

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment, machinery, and systems in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge and hands-on repair skills, with a focus on equipment reliability, safety, and minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Inspections: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical equipment and machinery.

• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to minimize equipment downtime.

• Preventive Maintenance: Follow maintenance schedules, complete assigned work orders, and support preventive maintenance programs.

• Documentation: Record completed work using CMMS software or maintenance logs.

• Root Cause Analysis: Assist in identifying the causes of equipment failures and recommend repair solutions.

• Communication: Communicate with team members and report major equipment issues to management.

• Safety & Compliance: Follow established safety standards and protocols during all maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a mechanic or maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.

• Ability to troubleshoot problems and perform hands-on repairs.

• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and tools.

• Basic understanding of CMMS or maintenance logging systems preferred.

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
