Job description

Position Details:

As part of the OCD Center team, you will report to the Associate Director. You will gain specialized experience in cognitive-behavioral therapy, exposure and response prevention, behavioral parent training, and intensive intervention formats, with encouragement to develop your own areas of interest and specialization. Furthermore, you will attend multidisciplinary case conferences, contribute to clinical meetings, present in the community, and collaborate on educational and research initiatives. This is an exempt, full-time, hybrid (this position requires a minimum of four (4) days per week in the office, on a schedule determined by your supervisor) in our NYC headquarters office or other relevant location. The in-office requirement and schedule are subject to change based on the needs of the program and the organization.

You Will:

Conduct semi-structured clinical diagnostic assessments and write diagnostic assessment reports.
Provide evidenced based treatment including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP) and behavioral parent training (BPT) to children, adolescents and young adults with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), as well as comorbid disorders, in individual, group and family formats.
Co-treat with other clinicians in one or more intensive treatment formats (e.g., single-session, week-long intensives, home-based treatment)
Provide supervision to other trainees under umbrella supervision of a licensed psychologist.
Collaborate with our board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists on cases requiring pharmacotherapy.
Participate in supervision, educational didactics, case conferences, team meetings and lecture series.
Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

You Have:

Completed PhD or PsyD from a graduate program in clinical, counseling, school-clinical, or school psychology.
The doctoral degree above must be conferred approximately six weeks prior to beginning the position.
Limited Permit to practice psychology in NY State.
Completion of doctoral internship.
