LCSW Therapist

Jewish Family Service of Greater New Orleans (JFS), founded over 75 years ago, is a nonprofit serving the whole Greater New Orleans community. JFS is seeking a compassionate, highly skilled licensed therapist to assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues in individuals, couples and families. JFS accepts most commercial insurance, Medicare and Medicaid, and offers a sliding fee scale.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain a caseload of 25–30 counseling clients, including children, adolescents and adults
• Develop ongoing case plans with each client to measure progress
• Attend weekly clinical staff meetings and check in weekly with the Chief Clinical Officer
• Refer clients to community resources
• Keep records to state law and JFS standards in a web-based electronic health record

Qualifications:
• LCSW required
• Experience working in a clinical setting
• Excellent written communication and knowledge of the Social Work Code of Ethics
• Computer skills for a web-based EHR
• Bilingual Spanish speakers and/or clinicians credentialed with third-party payers may qualify for a $1,500 signing bonus

Salary: $60,000–$65,000
