Community Connections Manager

The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee is hiring a Community Connections Manager to build relationships that connect people to the Federation and the broader Jewish community. Reporting to the Director of Engagement, this role leads newcomer and volunteer engagement, manages the Shalom Ambassadors program, cultivates community partnerships and represents the Federation at outreach events.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary contact for newcomers and connect them with programs, synagogues, volunteer opportunities and resources
• Coordinate monthly campus tours and an annual newcomer event
• Recruit, train, schedule and recognize volunteers, and track participation, hours and retention
• Manage and grow the Shalom Ambassadors program
• Manage the Just Schmoozing and Chai Life programs and cultivate relationships with synagogues and partner organizations
• Represent the Federation at fairs, expos and festivals, with timely follow-up

Qualifications:
• Warm, outgoing and skilled at building relationships
• Highly organized with strong follow-through across multiple priorities
• Experience in community engagement, volunteer management, membership, hospitality, events or nonprofit programming preferred
• Comfortable speaking with individuals and groups
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database or CRM systems

**Schedule:** Full-time, including regular evenings and weekends for programs, events and outreach.
