Varsity Boys Head Basketball Coach

Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy, a pluralistic Jewish day school for grades 6–12 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, is seeking an energetic head coach for its Boys Varsity Basketball program for the 2026–27 season. The team competes in the Friends Schools League (FSL), PAISAA and the Capital City Jewish Hoops Invitational. This is a stipend position reporting to the Director of Athletics.

Responsibilities:
• Teach the game at the individual and team levels with competitive, engaging practice plans
• Build a positive team culture of leadership, responsibility and respect that reflects JBHA's core values
• Serve as a role model to students and positively influence the upper and middle school coaches
• Expand the off-season basketball program and help engage prospective students
• Drive student-athletes to games in the team van if needed
• Communicate and build relationships with players, parents, staff and administration

Qualifications:
• Prior experience coaching competitive basketball at the high school, club, prep or college level
• Competitive playing experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of basketball skill development and the ability to motivate student-athletes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a high standard of sportsmanship
