A remote, part-time Accountant is sought to support tax and accounting work for a growing practice. Well suited to someone comfortable working independently, managing deadlines, and handling client tax work with accuracy and care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
- Work in UltraTax and Drake to prepare, file, and track returns
- Maintain accurate client records and supporting workpapers
- Assist with tax planning, estimates, and compliance deadlines
- Communicate clearly on outstanding items and filing status
Requirements
- Proven accounting experience, preferably with tax preparation
- UltraTax — required
- Drake — required
- Strong knowledge of tax rules, forms, and filing requirements
- Reliable, organized, and able to meet seasonal deadlines
