Job description

The role
Our patients feel every broken handoff. A referral comes in, gets entered in one system, checked against insurance in another, and scheduled in a third. Somewhere in between, someone with severe depression waits. This PM's job is to find those places and remove them.

You'll sit closer to the work than anyone else on the product team. That could mean working the front desk during the Monday-morning call rush, shadowing a technician through a day of accelerated TMS sessions, or sitting beside a biller as they chase a Spravato prior authorization across three payer portals. Then you'll go back and fix what you saw.

The scope is wide and the autonomy is real. The distance between seeing a problem at a front desk and shipping the fix is short, and we want to keep it that way.

What you'll do
Map how work actually happens across our clinics and operations teams, including the workarounds nobody wrote down.
Find where time, revenue, and patients fall out of the process, and size each problem so we know which to fix first.
Decide what to build, buy, or automate, then ship it with engineering, design, and clinical leaders.
Prototype with AI yourself so ideas get tested in days, not quarters.
Write PRFAQs and short specs that make the decision obvious.
Roll changes out across 27 clinics, train the people who'll use them, and measure whether they worked.
Own outcomes like time to first appointment, prior authorization turnaround, clinician admin time, and patient experience.
Backgrounds we think could thrive here
Former health-tech founders who want high ownership and direct contact with users
Engineers moving into product who still like building the first prototype themselves
Health-tech PMs who want to be in the room where their product gets used
Clinic or practice operators who taught themselves to build with AI and want to do it full time
Builders who care deeply about data models and it impacts front-end workflows
This list isn't a checklist. If you see yourself in one of these, we'd like to talk. If you don't but the role still sounds like you, we'd like to talk too.

You may be a great fit if you
Have watched someone use something you built and changed the plan because of what you saw.
Build a rough version the same afternoon when the tool you need doesn't exist.
Can explain the same tradeoff to a clinician, an engineer, and an executive, and each one trusts you.
Narrow ambiguity instead of waiting for someone to resolve it for you.
Earn trust fast with frontline teams, because you show up, listen, and come back with something that helps.
Reach for AI first. You build your own tools and agents and have opinions about where AI helps and where it doesn't.
We're open on seniority. Strong candidates may have three years of product experience or ten, and we'll level and pay for what you bring.

Nice to have
A technical background: engineering, data, or enough SQL and code to get your own answers
Familiarity with healthcare software such as EHRs, practice management, billing and clearinghouse tools, and payer portals
Experience in behavioral health or multi-site care delivery
