Experienced Part-Time Caregiver / CHHA

Qualicare Home Care Services is urgently seeking a dependable, experienced, and compassionate Caregiver or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide hands-on personal care and mobility assistance to a client in their home.

The ideal candidate must have experience assisting clients with transfers between a bed and wheelchair, along with personal hygiene and incontinence care.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with transfers from wheelchair to bed and bed to wheelchair
Provide sponge baths and personal hygiene care
Change adult briefs and assist with incontinence care
Assist with dressing, grooming, and daily activities
Ensure the client's safety, comfort, and dignity
Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
Follow the client's individualized care plan

Qualifications

Experience assisting clients with bed-to-wheelchair transfers is required
Comfortable providing hands-on personal care, sponge baths, and changing adult briefs
NJ Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification preferred
Previous experience assisting clients with limited mobility
Ability to safely provide one-person transfer assistance consistent with the client's care plan
Compassionate, patient, reliable, and professional
Must complete required background and health screenings

Available to start Monday, October 26
