After School Floaters/Assistants

Responsibilities:

Coordinate classroom activities for general childcare spaces for K-3 or 4th-5th grades.
Support lead instructors in classes.
Negotiate any unplanned classroom disruptions.
Maintain up to date attendance/dismissal records.
Dismissal duties.
Communicate with families during after school hours.
Document and communicate student/instructor concerns with the After School Program Director/Associate Director.
Assist in specialty classes as needed.
Background in theater, dance, music, art, STEAM or music a plus.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in education preferred or equivalent experience in schools/childcare settings.
Ability to supervise specialty classes in the event of teacher absences.
CPR/First Aid Certified
