Takeoff & Estimating Specialist

Location: Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Schedule: Full-Time, In-Office
Salary: $1,500 per week

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Takeoff & Estimating Specialist to review project plans, calculate material quantities, prepare cost estimates, and support the team in preparing accurate and competitive bids.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.

• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate material requirements.

• Prepare cost estimates for labor, materials, and project scope.

• Assist with bid preparation and pricing.

• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to obtain pricing and clarify project details.

• Maintain organized estimating records and ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous takeoff or estimating experience is a strong plus.

• Ability to read and understand construction plans and blueprints.

• Strong mathematical, organizational, and computer skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Quick learner with a strong work ethic.
