Internal Audit Associate

Touro University is hiring an Internal Audit Associate to support the Vice President of Internal Audit & Risk Management. You'll help carry out audit engagements, risk assessments and enterprise risk management (ERM) work, track audit issues, and prepare Audit Committee reporting, all under the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF).

Responsibilities:
• Perform testing, prepare workpapers and support audit conclusions across operational, academic and compliance audits
• Carry out risk assessments through data analysis and update ERM risk registers
• Prepare Audit Committee and ERM presentation materials
• Maintain the master Observation Log, track action items and send past-due reminders
• Refresh reporting outputs such as pivot tables, charts and aging reports, and protect data integrity
• Support the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program and coordinate the department's internship program

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
• 1–2 years of compliance or internal audit experience
• CIA, CPA, CISA or CFE preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information

Salary: $72,000–$90,000

**Schedule:** Monday–Thursday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, Friday 9:00 AM–3:30 PM (36.5 hours/week), with occasional travel to Touro campuses.
