Specialist, Research & Evaluation

Commonpoint Queens' Impact, Research & Evaluation (IRE) department is hiring a part-time, remote Specialist, Research & Evaluation. Working under the Coordinator, Strategy & Evaluation, you'll strengthen internal systems, coordinate cross-departmental projects, and lead evaluation activities that build the agency's culture of learning and continuous improvement. Commonpoint serves 80,000 people through more than 75 locations across New York.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate strategic initiatives, cross-functional projects, timelines and deliverables
• Improve workflows, documentation and department operations, including scheduling, recruitment and onboarding
• Design surveys and facilitate focus groups and interviews
• Analyze qualitative data and turn findings into summaries, presentations and reports
• Support agency-wide professional development and performance evaluation processes
• Create learning resources, guides and internal communications

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience with a degree in progress
• 1–2 years in a supporting or coordinating role, ideally in project management, data management or impact assessment
• Strong organization, writing and meeting-facilitation skills
• Intermediate spreadsheet skills (formulas, data organization, formatting)
• Experience with qualitative research, focus groups or evaluation preferred

**Pay:** $23–$25/hour

**Schedule:** Temporary contract, 19 hours/week through June 30, 2027, with at least 60% of hours between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM ET. Regular availability is needed for team meetings, supervision, focus groups and events.
