Overnight Security Guard

The Jewish Community Campus of Ottawa is hiring a part-time Overnight Security Guard for its in-house security team. It's a good fit if you want consistent part-time hours and/or on-call work on overnight shifts, in a dynamic and flexible work environment.

Responsibilities:
• Patrol the interior and exterior of the property
• Control building access and provide a visible security presence
• Respond to emergencies and manage and investigate incidents
• Provide event security and asset and VIP protection
• Conduct fire safety checks and monitor surveillance cameras
• Take part in ongoing training

Qualifications:
• Valid Ontario Security License at time of hiring (mandatory)
• Calm, proactive and level-headed in stressful situations and emergencies
• A verifiable record of handling difficult people and situations with positive outcomes preferred
• Reliable, punctual and able to communicate effectively in English

**Pay:** From $19.20/hour
